Upgrading from v0.73.0 to latest

hi we are running signoz on docker standalone using docker-compose the version is quite old and there are lot of breaking changes introduced like frontend and alert manager running in single binary and changing of old ( _ ) to ( . ) for naming convention in metrices. Should we directly upgrade to latest one from existing or do one by one testing all these major changes.
Also what rollback strategy is recommended to be followed if anything breaks down

p.s. its only a dev environment and testing is ongoing
